I'm not going to say anything....except...well...you know.

Sorry to hear about your problems. I would be pissed!

I was always a hard core Dell fan. I've spent close to $500k with them over the last few years (corporate purchases).

Anyway, I spoke with someone today and they're giving me a new laptop with much better specs than the one that I have now.

We'll see if/when it actually happens. The service call # they gave me isn't working yet.

i just bought a new laptop. its an acer with 512 mb 60 gig hard drive 15 inch screen. it was 650 with a 150 mail in rebate from circuit city. i got it cause it was a good deal. had it for like a month now and havent had any problems with it. i also got the t-mobile air card for it and can go anywhere with the lap top and get the web. only thing is the battery does not last that long. the service has its good times and sometimes it takes a long time for the pages to download but overall the service is ok it is the cheapest at 50 dollars a month. it says it can be upgraded from 512 to 1 gig but i dont know how to do that. this is my first computer.
