Actually, the underlying story as to why there was such a huge LE presence in Greenwood WMA is encouraging. The presence was a joint effort of multiple agencies that had as an objective finding illegal off-road vehicle use.
So, they came up with a Nazi. A well armed Nazi going off-road illegally I submit. That's a good start.
I am impressed.

This is from Lacey PD website:

Crime Alert (Arrest of Convicted Felon in Possession of an AK-47 Assault Weapon)
– On Sunday, May 15, 2016, the Lacey Township Police Department led a multi-agency task force covering in excess of 60 square miles of rural wooded area in Lacey Township and Ocean Township within Ocean County. The focus of the detail was on the detection and deterrence of criminal activity, trespassing, and off-road vehicle violations in the Pinelands and on private property. The task force was made up of law enforcement officers from the Lacey Township Police Department with the assistance of the Ocean Township Police Department, the New Jersey State Police, the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, the New Jersey State Park Police, and the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife.

Saw Dave Canterbury on one of his youtube videos advertising one of these and loading each barrel with a different type of shell. A buckshot load, a slug and a round ball muzzle loaded. Each one fired fine.

And each barrel can have a different choke. This company also makes a single shot rifle/shotgun; 2 barrels, one for rifle, one for shot shells and they have barrel inserts that allow changing the caliber or gauge.

X -Caliber® is designed for use in any condition and with any ammunition available.
Originally designed with two calibers, a rifled .22 LR and a smooth bore .12 GA -, this rifle can fire up to 12 different calibers thanks to the 8 steel adapters supplied. In addition to the two original gauges, adapters allow you to shoot 8 pistol calibers ( .380 , 9 mm , .357Mag/.38SP , .40 S & W, .44 Mag, .45 ACP , .410/.45colt ) and two shotgun calibers (410 ga, 20ga), combining the flexibility of a shotgun and the power of a rifled gun.

I always wanted a Savage .22 over 20 combination gun when I was a kid but never did buy one. Back then, NJF&W did not allow a rifle of any kind for anything.

There are quite a few of these types now available. The company that makes the one I mentioned has a couple and a lot of other interesting firearms. Have not looked into the company yet, but am interested in their lever action .22's.
