I just wanted to say thanks to Lynn for setting up the tour this morning. It was truly an experience in many different ways. I enjoyed meeting Jerseyman, Yeti (hope I sp'd that right), Largo, Whitingrider, and of course our genial host. The house was nothing short of a history buff's dream: a lived-in home stuffed to the gills with the artifacts of many lifetimes. And let's not forget the spectacular blue sky and the shining waters of the Delaware. I'm jealous, Lynn, that you spend so much of your time amidst such surroundings.

And lastly, but certainly not least, a word of thanks is owed to our hosts-in-absentia, the Frederick's.

Lynn, the address we obviously have, but as mentioned if you could send around a PM confirming the names I would like to send them a card.

Once again, thanks very much for a memorable morning!

Edit: if you would like a copy of the group photograph from the front lawn, please PM me an email address. The raw image is approximately 5 megabytes and gorgeous. Please let me know in the PM if you would like the 3872 x 2592 raw image, or some other size.

Hey all,
This is a messed up thread because of the inability to establish details, location, or provide some of the most unbelievable pics any here would see of an Historic structure in or out of the pines.
I will say this, Lqench is an incredible tour guide and a down to earth man yet with an elegant manor. Any here would be intrigued by his presence in a group. It was a pleasure to meet Mark and his daughter, and his father who is quite the gentleman. Good seeing and speaking to Tom again and your girls are very nice. Paul/YETI and family really seemed to enjoy the tour.
We have many wonderful structures from a period or periods of the pines that offer elegance and wonder but it was nice to see a manor and grounds as incredible as this! Any who attended really won out today and any that didn't really missed out.
Jerseyman... The best as always! Seeing your mother again was a pleasure and your input to the tour was admirable.
Till next time.

g.

Mark, I will gladly have the group shot and will P/M you the details.

I wish to thank you all for the fine comments and glad you enjoyed it. I had a great time with a great group! It was my pleasure. I really enjoyed a young lad's comment while looking out the trap door on the roof, "cool!". Perhaps Yeti's son? No better praise than that!

Good people, beautiful surroundings, and stimulating conversation. These are the best things life has to offer!

Thank you, Lynn—your generosity is only exceeded by your patient, genteel nature!

And wonderful to meet one and all and put a face to a name!

Best regards,
Jerseyman

You said it all, Jerseyman. What a pleasure.

That may have been Sam.
Although that young lad MarkB was sharing that statement at every turn, as were most of us.
