Not looking good for the next several days, especially for someone like me, who hates the heat and humidity.

The 'feels like' temp, the opposite of 'wind chill', is over 100f Friday thru Sunday and 110f for Saturday.

There's something weird about that link you posted (look at all the stuff it contains when you hover your mouse over it). I think this is the correct link:

I went out for my mid-day walk expecting to be miserable, but it was actually quite pleasant because the humidity was under 50% and there was a nice breeze. Yesterday it was pretty miserable with much higher humidity. What I don't like is the warm evenings, that never give the house a chance to cool down.

Nothing appears when I hover, and clicking brings up the correct site. By Sunday night houses will have become a heat sink, I'm headed for the basement.

When I click that link, it takes me to Facebook and puts up an alert warning that I'm about to leave Facebook! And this happens on a computer that has never even visited facebook.com. FWIW, here are the contents of the link you posted. Yeah, all that stuff was hidden in there! :ninja:

To each his own. I don't like clicking things that contain sneaky cryptic code (which is probably used to track you). I prefer the simple, direct link to the PDF file (which I posted above).

Went out to the woods around 8:00PM tonight and it was hot, humid and still. Then, about 8:25, the wind started blowing hard all of a sudden - a big wall of air. And it just kept blowing harder and harder - I was getting ready to "hit the deck" if it continued. It kept gusting on and off and I hurried back to the house because the bending trees were getting scary. Storm is just about to arrive here and it certainly made a dramatic entrance, although the radar now shows most of it headed just north of me, to the Hammonton area.

100F air temp in the shade out back, but must be low humididity, it doesn't feel that bad. Working in the garage is a different story.

Just returned from a walk, wasn't as bad as I expected, there's an intermittent breeze and lower humidity than yesterday.

If you have health issues and can't handle the heat, find someplace cool to hang out for another day, Tuesday looks much better. But it's late July and it's hot and muggy. Is this really such a big surprise? We have hot spells like this every year. Maybe this one is a couple degrees hotter or a day longer, but it seems very familiar to me. Have been getting out into the woods every day and sweating - it feels good as long as I don't overdo it. Wouldn't want to do much "real" work outside in this weather though!

I agree Guy. It was definitely hotter today. I was eating lunch at a place in Medford, and when I got back in my car at 1:00, the car thermometer read 111 degrees until I got on the road.
