All,
This morning a few of us members met at Martha to do some hiking to look for something I had visited many years ago and wanted to find again. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful, but more on that the day I eventually find it.
Jessica and I arrived early and did some stone searching and we were very successful in that respect. About that time Stu (Onehand) and Rich (Oriental) were arriving and I showed them the stone.
It is officially called "Stone A", and anyone who has traveled from Harrisville to Martha has passed close by this on that route.

Ben arrived and we traveled to the meeting place at Martha to await the rest of the group. Soon Steve (Behr655), Jeff (Woodjin), and Bob (BobM) arrived.
Most of the day we hiked the Calico Warren Grove road, the Shamong Road, and just North of the Oswego Road, and crossed over the hilly area in between.
By mid afternoon we were bushwhacking back toward our cars when we found an unusually high deer stand. Jeff and I climbed up to check it out.
Jeff almost there.

The rest of us decided to travel around the water, but they chose to travel through it..... Jeff in waders and Bob in knee boots. We arrived on the other side to find them blocked by a channel along the waters edge that was very deep.
Jeff almost to the channel.

In limbo.

They eventually backtracked and we soon were back to our cars.
A good day with good friends! Thank you Rich for coming along...we all enjoyed your company.
