The mansion photo is from the West Jersey Astronomical Society star watch just this past Saturday. It was an exceptionally clear night.

Yes indeed. Playing with long exposures here, between 30 and 90 seconds. It was much, much darker than it looks, with only the light of the moon on the scene.
