I was at Winslow WMA Friday. At the entrance off RT 322 I saw this sign. Has anyone seen any?

Wild pigs have been around piney hollow road area for at least 10 years or so. White oaks golf course had some issues dealing with them a few years back. Suprised they havent spread further.

I saw a dead pig in Colliers Mills a couple of years back after they burned the fields. It was burnt but I can't say for sure it was the fire that killed it. I have a picture somewhere, I'll try to post it if I can find it.

No sign of pigs around Richland or Milmay just yet, but they supposedly once were here. There are some old accounts of pigs left to live off mast. Another name for a spung is a hog hole, so I envision that closed basins could be a favored haunt of theirs.

Other spung names documented include bogs, prim ponds, goose ponds, duck ponds, elephant wallow or hog wallows, whale wallows, holes, winter ponds, watering places, heath ponds, dry ponds, and bear holes.

Anything to add to this list?
