Fire at Goshen Pond

I was coming out of Quaker Bridge Rd this evening around dusk and saw half a dozen NJFFS vehicles along with a KYW 3 news van at the Atsion office. Pulled in and found out there was a small fire around Goshen pond campsite. Could see plenty of smoke from the ranger station.

Just had a nj forest fireBrush truck blow pass me on Rt322 heading into Glassboro. Not sure where he went

We drove down the road to just past the plastic bridge this morning and it is not evident along the road except for the smell. They must be just using Goshen Pond as a general reference.

The state park was backed up all the way to Atsion Road at 8:30 this morning. There was a helicopter on the landing zone by the ranger station. On our way by a little late it was landing.
