Managed to hit a spot tonight with a faint hope of Pine barrens treefrogs. After a comical amount of quonking like a treefrog and searching through the muck, I finally struck gold.

The night temperatures aren't quite what they should be yet, but the deafening choruses should be coming soon. I love this time of year.

They were everywhere . . . this was just the only one who made noise long enough for me to track down his location.

Cool stuff Bob. I haven't been out in the field lately- heading out tomorrow and saturday. Maybe saturday night i should check some of my potential pb treefrog spots. I didn't know they were out this early, good pics!
