Hello All,
I’ve wanted to look for a marker placed at the intersection of five townships and also marks an angle point in the county line between Burlington and Ocean Counties. I had Thanksgiving Day morning free so I decided to go a field.
Getting to the area was easy enough. I turned onto the last road and went a short distance and noticed a concrete post. It turned out to be a witness post with a monument behind it.

After a short while I could hear the brush scratching both sides of the truck. Oh poo (censored). I continued on hoping to find a pull off so I could park. It took me another quarter mile to find a place to pull off and walk the last halve a mile to look for my Holy Grail. Along the road I found three township other line markers # 61, 59 & 58.

I was getting close to the area, my GPS was telling me it was sixty feet back in the woods. I noticed some pink surveyors ribbon in a bush along the road and looked down to see a stone.

I wasn’t sure if it was the correct stone so I followed my GPS to the location of my waypoint and I found nothing. I returned to the stone and noticed more pink ribbon back in the woods. It turned out to be a concrete county line monument approximately eight inches square.
Ocean County side.

Burlington County side

I wanted to explore more but time was running out. I get back to my truck, so now the brush that scraped my truck coming in has a chance to scrape the opposite side going out. Oh poo (censored again).
Here’s an action shot.

Well at least the motor was running.
The stone I found appears to be the one I was looking for. The county marker is on a 100 foot offset and due south of the stone.
The scratches were pretty bad but I was able to wax them out. You have to look hard to see them.
