Bob, it's funny you noticed that. I know the guy that owns that property on Atco Ave. I screenshot it and I am going to ask him if he knows anything about it. I also noticed a squirrel and raccoon trapping business known as A Bad Critter in text over top of the lot. (Turn on Borders and Labels layer)
Yeah, I know what it is; a decrepit greenhouse. It's the sun's reflections on the material he used (glass maybe?).
I don't think its abandoned anymore. I live very close to there and there is recent business activity and repairs. Not too much glass left in the old place, but enough to catch the sun I guess
Strange that the reflection off the glass only shows up in the most recent imagery. It's also amazing that it got by a photo editor at Google.
How did you know where it was Scott? I went on street view to see what is was when I first posted.
Not abandoned, we had a flower arrangement from there over Christmas and for several holidays prior. When the Mrs. gets home I'll get a name

They must have caught it at just the right time of day from just the right angle. No reflection on the HERE maps imagery (from Digital Globe)

I went to regular google search, typed Atco, then clicked the map within the search results, and see the "flashpoint"
Maybe it's a recent upgrade to the greenhouses?
As Joe said and clearly seen from your smokestack link, there was not much glass left
No sir, not Ocean. That is really a cool property. I think the stack is from something much older than the greenhouse and small barn
