"Warm, humid conditions more typical of late summer have returned and show little sign of retreating. Forecasts now call for above-average temperatures lasting at least 10 days, with high temperatures in some areas nearly 30 degrees above normal at times."

The new normal. October used to be a month of cold nights and crisp days with high skies. Now the skies are grey, the air is humid. Seasons were as predictable as day turns into night. I have four granchildren from two months to 7. They will not experience the thrill I felt during the change of seasons. I am sad for them.

I remember waking the breezeway at Lenape and it was snowing in October. And cold in there.

Not really diggin' this at all. I want more cold for more of the year. I truly dislike the heat and humidity associated with a NJ summer and now that seems to be lingering into the fall.

It sucks, it really does.
