Friendship Bogs

So when was the last time Friendship Bogs were used commercially? When did the State take them over?

I'm guessing that the crops were packed at the cranberry packing house at Friendship, right?

I would love to see pictures of that building when it was still standing.

I believe Ed mentioned the state bought it around 1954, but I am not certain that was the year he said.
