It was cold and everything was solid. We saw only an occasional bird or mouse track. The drive out there was better than I expected. The bridge at Friendship is completely covered in graffitti.

I was out and about today as well, but not in that area. Was hoping to run into you at the Pic.

There is a small road washout area near Quaker Bridge and the Hampton Rd bridge going towards East Stokes Rd. is completely washed out.

But thepines are sure beautiful in the snow, aren't they?

Great pics, Ed!!!

I wanted to come and meet the gang but it was Marianne's weekend and she wanted to hike. I am free on weekdays if your up for wings. :)
I had a really nice hike on Friday morning as well. The snow was powder and not deep so I was in my sneekers. We, Buffy and Willow, hiked the Tuckerton Stage Roat at the Skit by the Boot Camp to the Scary Hill.

Looks nice! I might be bouncing around the bogs on Tuesday ... hope the footwork isn't too complicated. A photographer friend, new to the area, has requested an intro to the pines. Thinking Friendship bogs are best. Ed, your shots offer a perfect preview for what we'll be dealing with.
