As administrator I have to keep watch on everyone who signs up to make sure they are not going to cause a problem. I am always getting PMs and emails from various members when they are concerned about certain individuals. To be honest when Dave first signed up there was a concern that was discussed during lunch and at other times during our outings. If anyone thinks that does not go on they are mistaken. I need to get input from those who I believe will give me straight answers. Anyway, it has been obvious to me and to many others who have contacted me that my first impressions of Dave were wrong. I admit that and believe that, and if anyone does not like it then I am sorry. I have been accused of not giving credit when credit is due, and now that I have I unfortunately am regretting it.

I hope this is behind us and will refrain from doing this in the future. I will no longer continue this conversation and will not respond to any comments which I hope will not come. Lets let this die or I will delete the posts.

Vandalism in the pines is nothing new; certainly not peculiar to my generation.

I agree Gabe, vandalism is nothing new and certainly not generation specific. I would suspect that as the number of people living around the fringes of the pines has increased, the likely hood of vandalism has, subsequently, risen with it.
