GPSCity currently has the Garmin Montana 600 on sale for $350. Looks like a pretty good deal… there have not been many sales on the Montana recently (Amazon is currently selling it for $450). Their website calls this a "quick sale", so if you want one you probably have to act soon...

I see that they also have factory refurb Garmin Oregon 600's (with full one year warranty) for $300:

I broke down and got another Triton 500.I want to make my own aerials.I don't even like the subscription aerials from Vantage Point that you can buy a subscription for.I found a program for free that allows me to make jpegs out of geotiffs, mrsid or jpeg 2000 files and with Gimp to crop and triton rmp I"ve been making quarter topo sized aerial maps at a time.Thats about as much as my computer can handle. The jpegs are over 300 megs in size and the finished rmp's are about 175 megs each.resolution down to 1 ft.takes about an hour and a half to make an aerial. I also like the fact the Triton will read to the foot in distance to end up to a mile.

Great feature. Garmin needs to get with the times and have it also. It just proves they do not really know how people use their devices.

we need to have Magellan GPS's with Garmin support. I bought a three year guarantee with this one. If you have no guarantee magellan will not repair it not even for a price.I still have the 1500 but it's bricked and I have no idea what to do with it.Maybe I"ll keep it and i guess I can trade it in for a refurbished unit in the future?
