a village...in the pines
Hello all,
What a fantastic week...... full of firsts and worsts.....events, trips, and everything in between.
Like the rest of you, I am seeing the forum fairly quiet lately, but don't imagine it so for much longer. So I will flash through the busy week with the members and scenes that I wandered with......... Hope you enjoy.

Wed 3/10 my first bloom, albeit a maple....prior to the storms......

Good photos, Terry! The Mullica shots tell so much; they'll go into my file. I love the old house (is it still inhabited?), the feathery maple bloom, and the rain-sparkled iris. I want to meet your 'best friend"--can we take him on our hike?

Hey girl!
You do get the shots. I dig the tumultuous Mullica. it gives one a good reason to respect the river.
Table 9 (all three) was dressed nicely with a group of fine folk. Did you notice that everone in the pictures were all smiles. A good selling point for Linda! Whewww! Who let the guy in the purple shirt into a Pine Barrens gig? I actually loved seeing Budd interacting with a youngin' and if you've got a clue... keep that picture of Budd in profile close. It is a keeper and at my humble suggestion, a possible object of your talents. MTS is just too funny. Nice guy. Karl! There's that smile again. Terry, you have an awesome pup. Keep he or she close and enjoy the time you share.

Turtle- Great shots... thanx for posting. I like your favorite old laurel. Looks like Budd needed a power nap after a long day. (or maybe dealing with table #9)

It always amazes me that Bill Gates finds the time to visit South Jersey and participates in these local Pine Barrens related activities.
:)

Good eye, Rednek!

Someone had to make sure the Windows computer running the PowerPoint presentation did not crash.

I keep forgetting to add this photo in. I suspect almost everyone from table nine except Terry and I did not know that the person in green has been a member of NJPineBarrens.com from the first days. Can anyone guess which member this is? No posting for those who know her, and no hints from anyone. If nobody guesses then her user name will remain anonymous.

Good guess! You are correct. The father of the woman next to her was Behr655's teacher that he mentioned.
