Girl 14 Killed in ATV Accident Near Oswego Lake

It always makes me uneasy when I see a young girl riding around on motorcycles or ATV's with a pack of young male teens. You know her father probably did not know what she was up to. A couple days ago I was driving on Dover road and came upon a pack of ninja-bike riders doing wheelies and drag racing, and generally doing things on a county road that should not be done. In the middle of them a young teen girl stood, looking bewildered. I'd freak out if my daughter did that kind of stuff.
Big head-on accident on 539 yesterday; 6 hospitalized included 3 young children. Rt 539 between rt 70 and 72 was closed for some time. Accident was near Bloody Ridge Rd.
They released her name.

You're right, apologies. I really don't want to derail the thread. It just struck me as maybe a little sexist. I regret replying that way though, since this is about a girl who died.
