a village...in the pines
Hello all....
It's been a lovely week in the pine woods and topped off with the most kick-back day on the water. Gloria and I wandered, explored, and paddled....here are the results of our accomplishments as we attempted to capture our moments in "forum" style. I don't know how to thank Ed for his gracious hosting of the most perfect day on the water. The weather cooperated, the sun was warm, the critters alive, and lunch was tasty.

Terry,

Did you get the cords of the monument with the metal in it?

Terry, you have created a lovely portfolio of memories. Your water lily scene is reminiscent of a Monet. What a painting it would make! I love your turtle shots, complete with reflections. I’m still wondering how you managed to get so close. :) Remember, every time I sidled near, how they’d slide into the water without a backward glance? Perhaps I need an introduction.

I think our “well” is the coolest find, although the chimney is magnificent too. I wish someone would comment on the colors in those stones.

Thank you for introducing me to your picturesque dripping woods, with its laurel caverns and mossy stone and bits of diminutive beauty. . . I will remember.
