Green Snake

We almost ran right over it. I stopped after passing it.

And we let it go in a better place. A short while after Jeeps came by.

I see those all the time around my place - almost stepped on one in the trail just yesterday. They are really thin and bright green.

Did you know they turn blue color when dead? I saw a few photos of dead ones on Facebook.

The yellow pigment breaks down quickly.

I have found that Green snakes are the best posers for photographs.
