I wrote about this over a year ago and I found out today it still is a work in progress and moving forward. If you don't remember they are planning on thinning the large area in Greenwood surrounding the huge rye fields. It is the area in red in this map.

It looks like Pine Creek Forestry will be doing the work. I have asked the DEP to avoid or not damage at least two old property stones in the area and I gave them all the information about them.
