Some of you might know that I emailed the Fish & Wildlife division about the bounty of abandoned cars at Old Half Way and other spots throughout Greenwood WMA. I also sent them pictures of some of the cars as well.

I just got a telephone call from one of their people, and they are going to remove the cars -- all 14 that they found -- as well as patrol the area a little bit more. They said that the last time they pulled cars out was 14 years ago!

So it seems that Old Half Way is going to get a facelift soon!

When I was there with my brother last weekend we walked around the lake where the car was in, and took the same route as you and I did. My brother noticed a truck in the woods that I had not noticed before and there were trees completely surrounding it. It must have been there for years.

I should have taken photo's of it but we had an agenda.

It would be nice to be there when the take them out.

ALLRIGHT Ben and ALLRIGHT Fish and Game Commission. NJ 101.5 FM talk radio show host Jim Gerhart had good things to say about the commission. They're doing alot of good by managing the environment for fish and wildlife and maintaining a scenic area for us to enjoy. I believe it was they who sold field guides, tapes of the tree frog, etc., to raise funds to help the Pine Barrens Treefrog. :)
