Looks like Fox. However no pad prints in front of it. It could be inactive. Not a very attractive place for a Groundhog. Here's a picture of a foxhole at Forsythe from two weeks ago. It was very active.I saw these holes while I was exploring near Evan’s Bridge this week. I’m assuming they were made by groundhogs?
I have more photos I didn’t post, but that looks virtually identical to what I saw. The photo I posted doesn’t do justice to the size of the holes. They’re pretty big. Probably a foot or more in diameter. I spotted three of them in about a 25 yard radius.Looks like Fox. However no pad prints in front of it. It could be inactive. A foot! I don't know about that. I'm used to measuring things, and that can't be a foot. If it is, I'll be very surprised. Maybe 8".I have more photos I didn’t post, but that looks virtually identical to what I saw. The photo I posted doesn’t do justice to the size of the holes. They’re pretty big.
