Came across that as a kid when I would canoe with my mom (What a shocker for a pre teen) but this summer when we were there I didn't see then hanging out there. So I don't know if they are still there.

If you canoe Ceder creek Triple T canoes is great. They also have the right sized canoe for the river. We used a 17 and we had a blast till Mitch tipped us. I think we did the 3 hour or 4 hour one.

Canoeing is alot of fun and it's even better with a group. Whenever you do get the chance grab it.

Alfonso,

You would LOVE canoeing, or even better, kayaking. It's not too hard to get the basics. (I'm not an expert, but even I was able to learn, that should tell it all!!! )

We went as a group over the summer and I will be sure to plan a trip in the spring, and again in the summer if you are interested.

Last time Guy and his daughter, Jenny, and Ben, his then-fiance-now-wife Laura and his friend Cass, and Joe and I and the kids went. Ed and his wife met us but got tired of waiting for the canoe rental so they went on without us, lol! I don't remember if there was anyone else or not. I have a couple of pics posted under "Motley Crew" and I believe that Guy and Ben have pics as well, and even a map of our route. We had a lot of fun.

That was a fun day! Jen was really tired by the end and that kind of ruined it for her. I just looked over all of my photo's from that outing, and many of them are from the swamp we roamed around in. I also have the photo I was taking when you took the shot of me that is in your gallery. I believe that was the first time we met Laura.

Here are two photo's from that day.

It was the first time I met Laura.

I really like your girls, they are troopers and hang pretty well! I admire the fact that your girls seem to really enjoy hanging out with their dad.
It is my hope that Joe and I are able to maintain our relationships with our children, as you have.

I can't believe how well Joseph did that day--I thought for sure he would be bored stiff just sitting in the middle, but he loved it! I have pics of the kids on the Oswego, from later in the summer, with Joseph actually in the inflatable kayak, kayaking all by himself. He was doing really well!
