Herbicide Spraying At Double Trouble

Looks like they are aerial spraying a bunch of lots in Double Trouble later this summer. At least one of them contains a huge cedar swamp. Anyone know the type of herbicide being used and why?

the area they are referring to is on carriage rd just past the white bridge walking towards Bamber. After Sandy this area of Atlantic white cedars was decimated by wind. There was posts before about how the state clear cut the land, much of the logs are still there. Supposedly this will allow it to stay a cedar forest versus becoming a pine or oak covered?

It was a cedar forest that was clearcut; they are all still there, stacked in nice rows. What a waste.

Last paragraph on page 89 to beginning of page 90. It sounds like this project was in the planning stages when Sandy hit so those areas were included in the AWC restoration plan.
