Steve Wynn wants to COME BACK to New Jersey --- to perpetrate another scam on the residents of this State? Give me a break! The last time he was here, he did a "deal" with Madam Whitman, the "Wicked Witch of the North." He was GIVEN the H--tract in AC FOR FREE, and he promised to build a humongous casino there, IF the STATE WOULD INVEST IN BUILDING A CONNECTOR ROAD FROM THE AC EXPRESSWAY TO THE MARINA DISTRICT. After the road was started at a cost of $110 mio. to the residents of the State, Wynn pulled--out, divided the H--Tract into three parcels, which he then proceeded to sell--off! He did not build anything on the H--Tract! ...NOT EVEN A HOT DOG STAND!!! :jeffd:

With the money he scammed, he built a monster of a casino in LV... He had no intention of ever returning to NJ! Now, he wants to build a big casino on the Bader Field site? Kiss my Baluga!!

The Bader Field site mentioned in the article is close to the Sandcastle baseball stadium. It is not easy to get to that area from the AC Expressway: Expect Wynn to demand that the State INVEST IN BUILDING A CONNECTOR ROAD FROM THE AC EXPRESSWAY, UNDER THE BAY TO THE BADER FIELD SITE!! :jeffd:

There are plenty of sites to build casinos at the north end of the boardwalk. The CRDA used eminent domain to clear the area, so why build a casino so close to the Chelsea section of the city --- in a relatively inaccessible area --- on the bay? It smacks of another of Wynn's scams.

Don't be hoodwinked a second time!

money is money, i dont get why his dealings are so bad when most people in NJ do the same thing. I just question why the money from AC doesnt pay for a 10+ mile buffer of natural lands around it to support marine life that has been destroyed in all of NJ. That money could buy up properties with ease, 450k for a property that could be sold on market for 200k, people will sell, pay double. You have cash to throw at people to create a reserve, but its thrown at ideas for people to do and take from, and its everyone in NJ's fault for voting for the same idiots again and again

Greed!!!!

From the sounds of the article, it would be a third time:rolleyes: ...<SNIP>
.

Yes, and with three strikes, he "outta be 'out'." Stay in Las Vegas, Steve!

During the playups to the recent World Series, Stevie was seen talking to "La Donald:" Two megalomaniacs "tete a' tete," who are usually toe--to--toe. The article in the ACP intimated that they would build a huge boardwalk casino that would "engulf" or incorporate the old Convention Hall...

I think that's just a "smoke screen" to get the populace "off of their collective backs" until they've got a deal in place to have the State build them either an elevated connector road from the X--way, or a tunnel from somewhere near the monument to --- the old Bader Field site...

In case they are actually thinking of taking--over the old Convention Hall, what will become of the World's Largest Pipe Organ (Atlantic City's Convention Hall pipe organ is the largest organ ever built. It has 33,000 pipes and 1,225 speaking stops.)?

Wanna bet that those two billionaire buffons don't demolish the place and sell the organ for scrap? :jeffd:
