high points trip

So i having started to explore some of the hills and mts that i have never been too. I hit bear swamp hill last week, and on wednesday, we hit spring hill, mt jemima and apple pie hill. Spring hill and jemima i had never been too( liked them very much) It just amazes me that i have been past mt rd a million times and never went down it. Although the puddles are pretty nasty, most have go arounds, but sometimes the go arounds have puddles. but anyway a very nice day exploring

also i noticed that they are logging on your way to bear swamp(coming down from jones mills rd) Anybody know what they are doing there?

I know the state's 'cut your own firewood' program is running, but not sure if that's what you saw.
