hike to "bear swamp hill" and "landing gear"

on thursday 12-22 a friend and i will be hiking from "lake oswego" parking to "bear swamp hill" then to the "landing gear"

the hike will start at 10:00 am and will be appx 6 to 6.5 miles, it may be wet in spots

all are welcome to join us

If you are taking the sand road from the Lake to Bear Swamp Hill, look for the Bear Swamp Hill Azimuth Mark on the left side about .8 of a mile before Bear Swamp Hill. Write me if you want the coordinates.

Thats a fun one. I did it in the beginning of November. I used the directions and map from 50 Hikes in NJ. Be on the lookout for an eagle on the back resevoir, if you have the time to check it out. Post a trip report when you return.
