So does anybody know where hirst pond preserve is located in galloway?

Are you guys talking about the same place? Boyd's links and photos are for the TNC house. The area that Bob seems to be talking about is where one of the Lawrence Line markers is.

Wow! They must have just taken it down. It was there a few weeks ago.

The floor of the house is there, and the dock, but that's all. Actually, it reminded me a bit of Nash's Cabin I was there about two weeks ago; looks like it might have been recently demolished. They also had dumped a lot of really large (non pine barrens type) gravel into some of the ruts on the road, probably so they could get some trucks in there.
