Here are a few that I have some connection to. My dad worked for A. H. Forsythe who was the father of Congressman Ed Forsythe. The Forsythe reserve is named after him as you may know. When I was a kid back in the late 50's and early 60's we would go to the farm once a year for a company picnic. I was always seeing Ed Forsythe in his congressional office in Moorestown, and for the first time I was able to meet his dad (A. H. Forsythe) at the farm.

I am sure I stood at this very location quite a few times. This is 1962.

Pines; Bamber area
I think I know this man, but I think they spelled his name wrong. I'll bet that is Harley Giberson. If not him, it must be his brother. I think Charles Payne was the brother of one of the last colliers in the state.

Harvey Giberson, of Whiting, New Jersey's champion wood chopper in 1954, demonstrates his talents at the Ocean County Fair in an exhibition match with Charles Payne, also of Whiting, national and world's champion. At the Mid-Atlantic Farm and Home Show.
Date: 1954
Location: Ocean County, NJ
Notes:
Format: 8x10 B&W print
