It is all right there by the lake. There really is not much to see.

The village proper is on the other side of 206, across from the lake. There's the Atsion Mansion and store, which is now the ranger station. Behind the mansion there's a concrete ruin which was a Wharton era barn, and another ruined barn/storage building that I am going to assume post dates the barn.

A bit further down 206 is an abandoned cabin and down from that is the spot where the mill and furnace were.

Guy is right, there isn't a whole lot to see at Atsion compared to a place like Batsto or Allaire.

There's a little 36 page book called "A Journey Through Atsion", published in 1982 by the Batsto Citizens Committee. It used to be available at the Batsto gift shop, not sure if it still is. If so, you might enjoy it. There are a lot of photos and the centerfold is a map that shows all the original buildings. Mine still has a price sticker on the back: $1.00. :)

Then there's also another little book, "Atsion, A Town of Four Faces" by Sarah W. R. Ewing, copyright 1979 also by the Batsto Citizen's Committe. It has a lot of photo's as well, along with a couple maps and also a map of the "town of Raleigh", another ambitious idea that never made it. This book was more expensive - $1.25. :)
