Hunters Moon this weekend

Just came inside… it was rising big and bright through the trees.

This morning at 6AM my wife and I were getting on Route 42 at Creek Road and the moon was looking really good. Much redder than it is right now. I would say this morning was a better view.

Any thoughts on a good spot (an overlook of some sort?) to view the moon as it rises tomorrow night near Toms River?

It's screening a moon lit drive and walk. Even my kids are saying that.

Anywhere in the plains would be ideal. The shorter the trees the better. Around me I search out recent fires that opened up the canopy. Either way a moon lit excursion in the pines is my heaven.

Thanks...I was asking for a friend of a friend but I will be coming westbound on 72 from Manahawkin around sunset so I will check it out as well

Saw the moon 6:30 this morning on the way to catching sunrise at FPP, over Chatsworth Lake, and tried a shot.

Tried while camping at Goshen last night. Didn't come out quite the way I wanted (or as nice as Jon's) but man, that moon was bright.
