I take this as a good thing. I live down here and I see things that boaters do and it drives me nuts. On the end of my lagoon is a shallow area and I can sit in my back yard and watch weekend boaters trying to get through the sandbar, they just don't know how to read the water. And last weekend, a boater tried to cut the rocks at Barnegat Inlet, he totally tore out the bottom of his boat. This happens about three times a summer. We need better safeguards for the serious boater without driving away business at the Jersey Shore.
