I got this email the other day. Anyone have any idea what he's talking about?

I use to live in Pine Lake Park, off of then Rte 2 Lakewood Rd, and we lived on corner lot with wide open spaces. There was an old dirt road that was overgrown with trees, but could follow it back to where an old hermit lived. He lived not far from where the old model A factory was at one time. It had sunk into the quicksand as well as several cars on its lot. I use to play in the swampy part and always had to be careful that I paid attention to the sand. What was solid ground the day before or even the hour before could become quicksand. I almost didn't pay enough attention one time. I lived in that are until the summer of 1959 when my parents moved to New York. I never forgot it as one of the small stream is where I learned to swim. I have yet to read any history on old car factories though in Southern New Jersey. Just curious. I plan to visit the school I went to in the early 50's. I went from a 2 room schoolhouse to the new elementary school in Whiting.

That is an interesting one. Maybe a Ford historian will have that info online!
