It's a dangerous world when you download illegal copies of software and movies on BitTorrent...

It's really very simple. Some people use special software to download illegal copies of movies and software. One of the programs that is used for this contains a virus that locks you out of your computer. Then the bad guys make you pay a ransom for the key to unlock your computer. This system has been so effective that the FBI usually advises the victims to pay the ransom.
