sunken bridge
the picyure that u put up is the remains of a old dam/floodgate the section you drive across is the top section of the trunk for those who do not know what 1 loks like it is a large rectangular box that the water would run through there was more to it than you see because its been many years since it was in use. was used when Reiders bogs were in operation as for the people from jp mag. which i also read they are mislead although this is used as a bridge now itwas not in the days it was built

i see some of u cant seem to find the remains they are calling bridges the 1 from the magazine isright off hampton rd. on the right heading toward the packing house another on is not to far from that 1 which u can also drive too i have also driven across the one in the mag.article but keep in mind these trunks have been there for many years and if they do ever decide to give out while your driving across .
it most likely wont be fun

Ya don't say. Well, I recently kayaked this portion of the batsto, in very low water, and failed to notice this second sunken bridge. Perhaps then you could be kind enough to give the coordinates for the first second bridge?

Since the water is so low I decided to revisit the bridge.
Upstream inflow under the bridge. I guess this would prevent sand from piling up under it.

What impressed me is how wide it is, 13 paces.

Since we're talking about submerged things, I revisited a submerged upside down boat I first discovered in the Batsto River during the drought in 2002.
It's mostly buried under muck and is usually under water. It's about 11 feet long and is a type of row boat, the hull is plywood, the transom solit wood and it was built with the stitch and glue method.
It is part of and under that mound
