Thanks 46er. That may be her. I remember his daughter would visit, which was great because I could actually have a conversation with her and she would "translate". :)

When I first met him, Larry was telling me about how beautiful the place used to be. He said "It was a palace back then... A palace!"
 
Thats it! As 46'er says, the roof on that house is caved in (thats the house we saw the turkey vultures perched), there is still signs of life in the back houses and the house across the street. Station Rd and Hickory Lane (runs parallel) both have undeveloped land, I seem to find more and more undeveloped spots when I'm out looking around. Thats awesome that you lived there back in the 70's, I would have loved to see this area back then.
