Kayaked the Sleeper west of 206

Near Mt. Misery
It was so beautiful out Saturday! I did some kayaking on the Sleeper Branch west of 206. What a nice break from winter. The river was pretty clear up to the rail road crossing.

After that it forked and just got too clogged with debrie. On my return trip I saw two men one older one younger and a very young girl (4y.o) on the rail bridge. Exchanged some pleasantries...they were both kayakers but were driving the woods today and seemed to be enjoying the day as much as I was.

Saw many turtles, all of which were red belly sliders. Most found there way to the water before I could get my camera out but I managed to catch this one monsterous one from a distance.

Nice trip, I've been trying to figure out how to approach that river for some time. It keeps poping up and dissapearing. Where did you put in?
