Time has gotten away from me this spring. it is only because of this thread that I even thought to go out and check for the ones that are on the property adjacent to mine. I was pleased to see that they are not only there, but certainly in numbers exceeding last year's blooms. I don't know how much weather conditions affect their growth- all I know is that they require a specific organic makeup in order to thrive- but perhaps this crappy weather I've been kvetching about for months-on-end contributed to that. Wouldn't that be ironic? : )
