I was reading old posts about the Lake View Inn. sorry to hear it no longer exists. It was originally owned by my family, my grandparents opened it in 1944. they bought the property after a fire and originally built a tavern and then they expanded to a Italian Restaurant. It was called Angelo's Lake View Inn. And yes the old hardware store was next to us and diagonally across from us was a grocery store. I remeber the owner Dot McFall(spelling could be wrong). The place was sold to the Virrilli's sometime around 1965-66. My Grandfather and his friends did most of the original construction. I remeber the Hay Rides, St. Ann's carnival. Ice skating on Mirror Lake and a summer festival on the lake with beautiful floats.
