Four mile spring preserve is great. I've been in there a few times but have always wanted to bushwack more. so now it is the Michael Huber Praire Warbler Preserve. Did I get that right? It's very catchy, I don't know why it is hard to remember?
If I had a Preserve named after me, I would like it to be called the Jeff Larson Eastern Coyote, Chain Pickerel, cedar swamp for Woodjins and Pineys Preserve.
I grew up in Middletown and worked for the Monmouth county Park System while I was in college. there was a park in Middletown near Navasink called Huber Woods. I suspect it was from the same namesake. We used to get reports of inncidents there involving cult activity. It was a nice woods though.

I work right around that area very often, navasink river rd., cooper road. It is a real nice little corner of the state. I bet you it was even better 50 years ago. When I use to hear Middletown I would think of solid suburbia, I was very surprised when I started doing work in that area of the state there was some nice woods.
