Margaret Bakeley, Artist who lived at Friendship

I have 9 of Margaret's Paintings. Margaret was a folk artist. Her style is different than the style by Terry Schmidt. I love Terry's paintings as well, they are more representative of the Pine Barrens. I have a sketch that I did not frame. This was on the reverse of one of the photos. I imagine her daughter Sue wrote this:

A favorite of mine; cardinals in the snow along a brook.

Woodcock(?) along a stream. The color is outstanding.

A somber scene of a shack in the marsh.

Another one with great color. This scene does bring back some of the old days, maybe Tabernacle or outside of Pemberton or Medford.

A similar scene with people, though this one is more stark. Could be any town in old-time South Jersey. I love it

A deer scratching against a tree in a shaft of sunlight. I chose all these frames, I think this one works well.

Could be one of the back bogs in Friendship.

Last one I have to show. I like how you can feel the silence in this scene.
