Martha Area

I'll be in the Martha area this weekend. I've beeen to Martha's Furnace and to the Cranberry Bog Pumping Station. What else in in that area to explore? I beleive that I've read about the Ellis Adams Farmhouse and Nash's Cabin. Arent' those sites in the area? If so, any suggestions on how to get there in relationship to the other places I've been to?

Nash's cabin: head north on Old Martha Rd. until you cross a bridge. then take the first fire trail on the right. Another point of interest is the large beaver lodge on the pond.

There are ruins of a gun club but it's on private property. I'll have to look later and see if it's marked on a topo.

There are also a number of cellar holes in the woods surrounding Nashs cabin, as well as an abandoned road. It's a neat area.

I will also be in the Martha area this saturday to revisit some sites,maybe we will meet up someplace

There are ruins of a gun club but it's on private property. I'll have to look later and see if it's marked on a topo.

I am pretty sure it's the white area just South East of Nash's Cabin site. Most of the pictures from this gallery are from those ruins - the Oswego Gun Club.

Like I said, though, it's still private property.

Thanks everyone. Is Old Martha Road know as something else possibly? It's not showing up on my GPS. Where is that road in relation to Martha Furnace?
