Thanks for digging that up, uh60chick, looks like you were right about that stretch. I'm guessing you're right about the motivation too. They probably decided it was a liability.

No doubt about that. How can vacating that be good for the public? I am sure they felt with the range, blocking it would keep most people out. I bet that was slipped through with little or no public notice.
