That was a great post, thank you for the perspective.

It's very awkward backing out of those parking spaces. You don't see many business districts laid out like that any more.

I associate this layout more with North Jersey.

Try backing out on Washington Street in Hoboken, it's a total madhouse. People also have no problem double parking and blocking you in. One of the many reasons to avoid driving in the metro area if at all possible.

You're right! Forgot about that, I can only recall one time I parked there, think I was going to a hardware store years ago. There's even less room to pull out.
