Here's one of those photos of a relic with Guy from 8 years ago that is fuzzy in my mind. Can't recall where it was or the circumstances.

Since the discussion turned to it being a Capri, and maybe my eyes are tricking me, but I think I see that sharp horizontal body line on the quarter panel that makes Capri's distinctive boxed, IMSA style fender flare. Mustang has a small, radius "lip". If we could see the hood, the definitive 2 vents on the hood would confirm.
Heck, let's just throw the kayaks in the water & see!

I owned a '73 Capri, the picture does not look anything like it. It had a trunk, unless the glare is hiding it, the waterlogged one does not. Maybe a Capri II, but I don't think so. Some brave soul needs to dive in and take a look. Doesn't appear too deep :D

Are you referring to a well right near the vehicle?

These are the car pics. It is closer to union clay works than half way. I am not sure how to post a spot on the map

Most of these cars must not have been out there that long. Every car I found in the late 80s early 90s always had FLYNN spray painted on them. Even if it was in the middle of nowhere

I am not sure how to post a spot on the map

Here in NJPB maps, choose the map you want and drag it until the spot you want is more or less in the middle of the screen. There's a "push pin" marker, but unfortunately it usually disappears off-screen when you drag the map. if you refresh/reload the page in your browser, the push pin should re-appear in the middle. You can then drag it to the exact spot you want. Finally, copy the address from the browser bar and paste it into your post. For example, here's Woodmansie on the topo map

On my site, it's a little easier. ;) Choose the map you want and drag it until the crosshairs are centered on the spot you want. Copy the address in the browser bar and paste it into a forum post. For example, this is Woodmansie on my site

On my site, you can also click the NJPB button on the left side of the map. It lets you open the same maps in both directions between sites.

I found them the other day on the map. I will be out there with Lost Town Hunter this weekend and will check them out.

Didn't get there today. Went right by there though. I may try tomorrow or next weekend.

Nice. 46er posted one many years ago that I remember looking somewhat like that, but it was in Greenwood I believe. The passengers were killed in a fire.

I remember something about deaths. I could be mistaken.

I just found another photo from the vehicle Bob posted in post #63. I took one of the serial number also but it is hard to read even with the original file.
