Mullica Hike

A year ago yesterday, I had my lower right leg amputated. Yesterday, I hiked from Atsion to Batsto along the Mullica trail. I stopped a few times to take in the sights and take in a few gnats with my lunch. I highly recommend the Mullica trail as a place for amputees to rehab, especially the area around Beaver Pond.
I was tired and sore when I was done but also proud of myself. I do think I hurt my shoulder patting myself on the back though. Maybe next year I'll get to enjoy a trail with a one, two or four legged friend.

What a difference a year makes!

I'm not one to brag about myself but I was feeling pretty proud yesterday. I was more tired than proud when I finished so, that's why it took me a day to write that.

Thanks Guy.

You should be proud of yourself. That is quite a hike for someone who had their leg amputated only a year ago. Very impressive! Like Scott, I find your spirit and drive commendable and inspiring.
