Yes, I've watched that a couple times. He's quick with his fingers, and dedicated. When I was 17, we'd drive around in a friends mustang listening to "I'm a Man". I always loved it when they came back in after solo instrumentals.
I love that voice. Rollickin' good fun.
Just heard this song for the first time in years the other day. Spent many late nights staring into the bonfire listening to the Band and singing our made up opening lyrics to this song..“I like cheese and crackers”
Do you remember Wall of Voodoo? That was Stan Ridgway, all the way. When he went out on his own, he really blossomed. He never gives you a short song and has a very clear voice like a bell; he makes it right. I liked him so much I had a CD carrier in my car that had 12 of his CD's. He follows his own star. He's been tapped to do movie scores too, as his arrangements are tight and thought-provoking.
