My 1st site camping/splorin' trip

A group of 10 of us camped at Godfrey Bridge and hit up a number of things, some Pines related, some not:

Winslow Junction
Circus Drive-In
Hermann City
Charles Wills
Friendship
Shaler Grave
Weymouth Furnace
Carranza
Brooksbrae

On the way back to Hermann, we had to take an insanely long detour; 542 was blocked from around Batsto to the intersection where Hermann is. A motorcyclist tried passing 2 cars and ended up meeting the front end of a jeep.

Other than having to get my truck junked, it was a fun weekend.

I'm not getting into details, but my rear window shattered....again. Whole gate got so badly bent it won't open anymore. Then on the way home I got the infamous "A/C in the Chevy is fried" syndrome; throw in the myriad problems I had with it before the trip, and it's just not worth fixing.

Oh well; got 3 months or so out of it.
