I spoke on the phone with another previous owner of the club and he told me the rear wall of the building was knocked out while he and his partner were owners. I asked if he repaired the damage and he said no. I will look through my info here and see if I can carry that down.

It is an interesting exchange of owners over the years and I will not go into details. In any event, The partners acquired it in 1972 and the building was intact. When they sold it in 1980 the building had been damaged or destroyed.

The so-called 1980's aerials are a composite of imagery that was taken between 4/3/1981 - 5/13/1987, but it looks like something was still standing then. It is gone on the 1995 aerials.

Yes, it may have been there still. He said the back wall had been knocked out. After they sold it to the insurance company it was left unchecked.

Not to harp on my foundation holes, but on the 1870 S. NJ Vermeule Topo map (https://boydsmaps.com/#17.00/39.708112/-74.494338/vermeule/0.00/0.00), the foundation holes that I am interested in lie within an area that is bounded by map symbols that I don’t recognize. Anybody have an idea how to interpret this? They’re the same symbols that bound, for instance, Washington and Mount. They also enclose an area where the Oswego Gun Club (Mick’s Tract/Buck Tavern?) were. Same with the 1885 S. NJ Cook Topo.
